Foreclosure Registry


On Monday February 7th 2011, the Pasco County Foreclosure Registry became fully automated. Pasco County has partnered with to administer its Foreclosure Property Registration program. In order to comply with the Foreclosure Property Registration Ordinance, all Owners/Mortgagees/Trustees must register online with and pay a registration fee.

All real property subject to a foreclosure action must be registered with the County's Foreclosure Registry and pay a $200.00 registration fee. Foreclosure Registry Ordinance No.15-14 approved on December 7, 2010 went into effect on February 1, 2011 and was revised on July 2, 2015.


The registry will require mortgagees and owners to provide official contact information for a person or entity who will be responsible for compliance with applicable codes regarding maintaining and the prevention of blight. The key elements of the registry ordinance are as follows:

  • Must register within 10 days of filing foreclosure action/Lis Pendens.
  • Must complete registration form and pay $200.00 fee.
  • Note: A separate registration is required for each foreclosed property with a separate Tax Parcel ID number. If a single foreclosure covers four tracts, each with a separate tax parcel ID number, or if it covers a single tract which contains parcels with four separate tax parcel ID numbers, then four registrations (and four fees) are required. This includes single family homes, condos, commercial and vacant land.
  • The registry applies to both residential and commercial properties in the unincorporated county. If the property lies within an incorporated area, such as the City of New Port Richey , the registry does not apply. You would want to check the tax records to find out if a property is in an incorporated area.
