On Monday February 7th 2011, the Pasco County Foreclosure Registry became fully automated. They have partnered with Federal Property Registration Corp. who will be handling the initial paperwork registration. The Foreclosure Registry (Electronic Registration Portal) is now available online.
All real property subject to a foreclosure action must be registered with the County's Foreclosure Registry and pay a $200.00 registration fee. Foreclosure Registry Ordinance No.15-14 approved on December 7, 2010 went into effect on February 1, 2011 and revised on July 2, 2015.
The registry will require mortgagees and owners to provide official contact information for a person or entity who will be responsible for compliance with applicable codes regarding maintaining and the prevention of blight. The key elements of the registry ordinance are as follows:
