An alert for drivers who use Morris Bridge Road (from SR 54 South to Chancey Road) in Pasco County. Work on an anomaly found in the middle of the road is set to begin the second week of July 2022.
Crews will fill the anomaly and resurface the existing road.
The area of Morris Bridge Road under construction runs from SR 54 South to Chancey Road – in both directions. The road will remain closed until work is complete. Signs are detouring drivers to alternate routes.
Work hours are weekdays, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.; possible weekend hours.
Project is expected to take 30 to 45 days to complete, depending upon weather conditions
Target completion date is August 26, 2022.
Southern Road & Bridge, LLC is the contractor for this Pasco County Department of Public Works project.
An alert for drivers who travel throughout Pasco County – expect minor delays. Asphalt pavement rejuvenation projects are set to begin the week of August 1, 2022.
Crews will be spray applying the pavement rejuvenator on selected arterial and collector roads throughout Pasco County. The initial application of the rejuvenant will appear pink in color, but after 15 to 30 minutes the color will disappear.
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Expect single lane closures with message boards directing traffic
