Avalon Park West is a 10 year pledge to develop an urbanized mixed-use locale. The 215-acre property will feature multi-story buildings with a composition of residential, commercial, and general office uses within walkable proximity using a “traditional” neighborhood community center design. Avalon Park West’s higher net density housing located within mixed use neighborhoods provides a wide variety of affordable workforce housing, intends to attract new employers, and can reduce the reliance on regional commuting. An economic impact analysis report conducted by Wynne & Associates; LLC concluded that the project would lead to the approximate creation of 2,000 new jobs.
