The Purchasing Department's purpose is to procure the necessary goods and services required by the departments in a transparent, fair and ethical manner. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the Purchasing Department to ensure that all procurement activity is conducted in compliance with the Pasco County Purchasing Ordinance and applicable State and Federal laws and regulations and approved policies and procedures.

Note: The Amended Purchasing Ordinance now includes a Local Vendor Preference Policy in Section 2-111, effective as of June 12, 2018. Corresponding documents are located under Chapter 2-Administration, Article IV-Finance, and Division 2, Purchasing.

Vendors are encouraged to submit the attached Vendor Information Form (PDF) to our email to have their email address and contract information updated within the new electronic system.
