PROPOSED TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (TIP)  AMENDMENT – Section 5307 Funds

     The Pasco County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at the Historic Courthouse, Board Room, 37918 Meridian Ave., Dade City, Florida, 33525 at 10:00 a.m., for the purpose of allowing the public to comment on a proposed amendment to the MPO's Fiscal Year 2018-19 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to reflect amount of $ 820,000 of their allocation of Section 5307 Funds for PCPT to use for their Planning purposes. This TIP amendment is to allocate Section 5307 funds for tasks Pasco County Public Transportation (PCPT) would use to continue planning administration through the funding of a transit planner, continue processing purchase orders for capital outlay requests and the GPC tasks in support of the transit planning program, and provide oversight of operations by conducting a review of all transit activities and routes to meet the needs of Pasco County citizens. MOBILITY 2045: COST AFFORDABLE LONG-RANGE TRANSPORTATION PLAN PASCO COUNTY METROPOLITAN PLANNING ORGANIZATION

     The Pasco County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a Public Hearing during the regularly scheduled meeting to review and consider adoption of the MOBILITY 2045: Pasco County Long Range Transportation Plan on December 11, 2019, at 10:00 am in the Dade City Historic Court House, 2nd Floor - Board Room, 37918 Meridian Avenue, Dade City, Florida, 33525.  The MPO is responsible for developing a Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) with a minimum of a 20-year horizon.   The purpose of this notice is to provide an opportunity for public comments and input on the Long Range Transportation Plan before the plan is adopted in December, 2019. In accordance with the MPO's Public Participation Plan and in compliance with Federal law - 23 CFR 450.316(b)(1)(i) and 339.175 (b) and (8) Florida Statutes, the public has a minimum of 30-day comment period from November 6th through December 6th on the draft LRTP in order to receive comments. The Public Hearing is scheduled to also provide the last public opportunity to comment before approval by the MPO Board.
