Building Inspections' mission is to provide structural inspections at predetermined stages of construction to protect the public from economic harm or injury. Our goal is to provide superior customer service at all times.
This office will be closed on Monday, February 18, 2019 for a Staff Development Day. Pasco County offices will reopen for regular hours on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.
Pasco County Government offices will be closed on Friday, April 19, 2019 in observance of Good Friday. All Pasco County offices will reopen for regular hours on Monday, April 22, 2019.
Implementation date is September 1, 2018 which is when Pasco County will require Building Permits for all repairs and alterations to Mobile Homes (as defined by F.S. 320.01) where required by the Pasco County Code of Ordinances:
Sec. 18-36.-Permit required.
(a) Permits are required as stated in this code and the Florida Building Code. The following activities require a building permit unless exempted in writing by the Building Official; erection, construction, alteration or repair of a building, structure, electrical, gas, mechanical or plumbing system. (Ord. No. 07-20, & 1, 9-11-07)
This requirement includes but is not limited to re-roofs, roof repairs, interior remodels, general repairs and exterior door and window replacements.
Those Mobile Homes located in Flood areas will also be subject to all relevant
Flood Damage Prevention requirements per local and Federal Codes and Ordinances.
Please use our County Online Permitting system which allows contractors to schedule inspections and obtain inspection results.
If at any time the online inspection system is inoperable, you may call our main building inspections phone number, and select option 2.
